Mark all as read, and find someone on the map with a tap

Alerts clears in one tap now, the household tracker goes straight to whoever you tap, the Bobby hub looks ahead instead of stopping at today, and its Ask opens a thread of its own. Album videos that would not play now do, on every app.

Mark all as read

Alerts had no way to clear more than one at a time, so a quiet week away meant working down a list one tap at a time. A “Mark all as read” control now sits on the Alerts screen, showing only while something is unread. It clears the list at once, on iPhone, Android and the desktop.

Tap someone to find them on the map

The household tracker's list and its map used to sit apart: you could see that someone had a pin, but tapping their name did nothing. A row with a current spot is a button now. On iPhone, the map glides to that person and picks them out; on Android and the desktop, the picture redraws centered on them. Tap “Everyone” to come back to the full view.

Next up, not just today

The Bobby tab's hub used to show only what was happening today, so an evening already planned for tomorrow was invisible until tomorrow. The card is now called “Next up” and looks across the whole week: events that have already ended drop off, and what is left is ordered by when it starts, each one dated (“Today”, “Tomorrow”, or the day of the week).

Ask opens its own thread

The Ask box at the foot of the hub, the calendar and the lists used to be a dead end more often than not. Typing a question there now sends it to Bobby in a private thread made just for that question, and opens it so you can keep talking. Nobody else in the home sees it unless you share it.

Album videos play reliably

A video in an album would sometimes show a blank or black frame instead of playing, or stop responding partway through. Playback is steadier now on iPhone, Android and the desktop, including coming back to a video after switching away from it mid-play.

Get the build

iPhone builds arrive through TestFlight. Android, macOS and Linux downloads are on the home page.
