Replies, subthreads and a GIF button
Reply to a message, start a subthread from one, edit or delete what you wrote, and pick a GIF without sending it straight away.
Replies
Every message has a small “…” that opens its actions: Reply, Create thread, Copy, Edit, Retry, Report and Delete. A long press opens the same list, and a swipe to the right starts a reply. A reply carries a quote of the message it answers. Tap the quote to jump back to the original. If the original was deleted, the quote says so.
Subthreads
Create thread starts a named side conversation from any message, and a conversation can hold as many as you like. The message it started from shows a card with the name, the count and the last activity. The Threads button in the conversation's header lists them, with a dot when one has something unread. Subthreads stay inside their conversation and do not crowd the main thread list. They follow the parent's members and visibility, and Bobby can answer in them.
Fork is gone. Old “(fork)” conversations stay where they are as ordinary threads.
Edit and delete
You can edit or delete your own messages. An edit shows as edited and does not send the question to Bobby again.
GIFs wait for you
GIF has its own button next to the attachment clip. Picking one puts it in the message box with a caption field, and nothing goes out until you press Send. Bobby leaves a GIF on its own alone. Mention @Bobby with a picture or a GIF and he looks at it and answers.
Backup settings open straight away
Backup settings in the album used to spin while the phone counted every picture. The screen now draws at once, and the count fills in when it is ready.
